OT: The Two Wolves

| One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes
on inside people...He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves.
One is Evil.
It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The Other is Good.
It is love, joy, peace, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy,
generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied..."The one you feed."

I have not heard of that one
I like it a lot
it is going into my file for future use when appropriate

This is who I used to be, before and for such a long time after I was dx
with ms.

This is who I am now. The difference has made
my life with this dis-ease much more wholesome and bearable.
"Which wolf wins?"
.................."The one you feed."
Oh, how true! This is not as far OT as some may think.

| oh' so now tick' you plunge us from LOL to tears of reality.... so very
wise was the indian..... what a treasure to read and pass on to loved
ones... i am two wolves and won't disclose to which i feed... dory
........" There is so much good in the worst of us and so much bad in
the best of us that its rather hard to discern which of us ought to
reform the rest of us"...........
