It'll heel. Im still unsure how I managed to do it. I seem to have a
talent for things like this. A couple years ago, while I was still hobbling
around playing goal-keeper for our indoor soccer team, I took off my goaly
glove because I wanted to loosen some tape I had on my fingers, of course,
at that moment, they brought the ball down the field, kicked it, I blocked
it, and had my pinky finger layed flat against the back of my hand, with it
split wide open where the finger joins the palm. The ER doc had never seen
anything like it. I had stitches in the tendons/ligaments, another layer on
the tissue that covers it, and a final layer of stitches to shut my finger.
Who suffers such indignaties such as this, other than I? Nobody that Im
aware of... If Id been patient and waited another minute until half-time to
loosen the tape, it never would have happened. That is how my life is.
LOL. But I wouldnt have it any other way. Cept'in for the MS of course.
Nothing beats what happened to Stefs nose though, when she climbed Mt. Hood.
OOUUCH! Worst burn Ive ever seen. By the time she had made it off the
mountain it had swollen up like Carl Mauldins. Had to go the ER and they
gave her this silver stuff that she had to wear for a week. It turns BLACK
in about 15 minutes. Poor girl looked like she had tripped and landed nose
first into some black grease. Work gave her hell. I, of course, had to
take pics of her in her nice work clothes with black shit all over her face.
LOL.
