It is so stupid to label and broad brush state's ideologies because
they are "blue" and "red". For the most part these states were won by
single digit percentages. Kerry won Cali by 5.5% ish? But leave it to
Abdi to think that it is a wealth of liberal lunacy. Bush won Florida
by a similar margin yet it is not an area of radical conservativism.
Grow up Abdi. This man won an award and congrats to him, it has nothing
to do with being in a "blue" state. You *are* perpetually in a
"moronic" state though.

Ok. Cool. But I'm curious. What are they gonna carve over the main
entrance? Center for Persian, Aryan or Farsi studies?

And what language are they gonna teach in...Persian, Pashto, Tajik,
Kurdish, Luri, Baluchi, or Tat? Or hey, I gotta concept for you. How
'bout English?

And since their ain't no minute men to watch the borders how you gonna
explain to all those Anglo kids at UC/Irvine that the population of Iran
(Persia?) ain't just some more A-Rabs. Oh wait, technically I guess
they are since about what, 650 BC or so.

Impressive GT, I thought it was better placed in Texas, but maybe Ohio.
Texas needs a more basic contribution,
center for civilization, this center would teach killing and racism is not
good. Center for Persian studies should go to Ohio.

Actually freedom ( which is good) was launched by blue states (civil war) on
the red states. There is no doubt about that.

Abdi, youre an idiot.

It was the Republicans who liberated the slaves. Lincoln, and the
Congress, that set forth the events that led up to the war, as well as
the Emancipation Proclomation... were... REPUBLICANS YOU IDIOT!

They fought long and hard against the DEMOCRATS of the day, to
accomplish this. Please, for heavens sake, learn history. Democrats
enslaved, Republicans liberated.

Read the book "The Great Emancipator". The anti-slavery movement was
ALL, 100%, Republican. Please, for heavens sake, learn history.

Actually if you would take a little time to study political terminology
you'd learn the the terms 'red state', 'blue state' have bounced back
and forth between parties quite a bit. In fact during the period you
are talking about the terminology wasn't used.

You need to quit missing those scheduled tune ups Abdi. If you're gonna
challenge this group you need to be firing on all cylinders.

I'm sorry...what was your point?

Precisely, the blue states / redstate, republicans and democrats have
changes. But one thing has stayed constant and that is the guys in the
current blue states fought for freedom.

Wrong. You are so wrong its rediculous. Dude, wouldnt you like, to at
least once, know what youre talking about? The Republicans liberated the
slaves... from the democrats. For crying out loud, learn some history
before going on and on, making a fool of yourself.
