last week at Langley's new casino,, my buddy was playing slots,, got up
moved to a different machine but left his medical bag behind,, when he went
back to get it,, it was gone,, but security had picked it up,,

he was so happy they got it,, but then ???

they told him they searched for ID inside and found marijuana,, a bag of
buds and a rolled joint,,,

they told him they were keeping his marijuana as thats their ''procedure,''
and he would be banned for 6 months,,,

well he started laughing and told them he is expemted,

by this time a crowd had gathered,,,

the head of security and the manager told him they would not,, he said they
are breaking the law,,,

so he told them to call the COPS,, they said,, thats not their procedure.

so he called the cops,, waited almost 2 hours for a cop to show,,,,

RCMP showed up,, they were totally effing CLUELESS IDIOTS!!!!

you can carry pot out in public? they asked in total amazement

12 ounces he said,,,

the security/management , would not even look at his Medical Exemption card
he carries right beside his ''ID'',,,

the police ordered them to return his medical marijuana they STOLE!!!!!

this is not going to end here either,, he is going to the local papers,,, to
talk about how he was treated, and the complete ignorance by RCMP, who didnt
have a clue about the legalities of the MMAR,, they need to go to school,,,

my question is this- if the Casino doesnt call the cops when they take
illegal drugs,, what the hell do they do with it??? keeping it without
alerting authorities is Illegal,,,

this is just incredibly disgusting treatment of a very sick man,,, who has
the legal right and has the legal proof on his person to carry marijuana and
smoke it in public, approved areas for smoking,,,

Bob, according to me, only the most immoral people own and run
casino's. Ripping people off is not a good thing in my book. Given
thats the type of people that own and run those places I dont find it
suprising that they would want to steal more than just money from their
customers.

bobby if you ask me it's pretty disgusting how bad very ill people are
treated medicaly... you won't find them in a casino worrying about their
pot... maybe your bud was more worried about the money he lost:-) he
wouldn't of forgot his weed if he'd been feeling ill.... dory

it was his first time in a casino ever,, he was trying out a slot machine
for the first time in his life,, didnt spend alot,, in fact they went for
the buffet,, but checked out the gaming room,,

FYI i myself have never been there,,, and i have never been to a casino in
my life,,, ever.

i am honing my skillz at online poker websites,,, playing mostly poker and
21.

21- if you have 16 and the dealer has over a 7 card - dont hit,,,

poker - always go ALL in early,, at least 6 people will fold instantly on
a 9 person table,,,
