hi Bobby, no i think you're thinking of that DRK book with the aliens

"Strangers" is about a bio-engineered dog and monster both escaped from
the government lab, and a grieving man and psychologically abused woman
who encounter the dog, flee the monster *and* the black-ops gov't lab
baddies, and make their peace with their pasts and futures. they made
it into a perfectly *dreadful* movie starring Corey Feldman, a "boy and
his dog" kind of movie. bleah! but i enjoyed the book. :->
"Kill dog! Kill dog! Kill....ME!" brrrr, shiver! ;->
