OT: Zarqawi Zeroed Out?
|
|
|
| Our guys and allies are literally scraping walls for tissue to be used
for DNA analysis after a gunfight at an al-Qaeda safe house in Mosul
led to suicides by explosion. Seven men and one woman inside the house
are dead. Let's hope that all of these were terrorists, and that the
results of the DNA tests are positive.

| That's actually one of the biggest confusions between east and west. In west
if you get the top guy it might lead to the collapse of the whole deal, but
at least in Iraq it has not been so, Saddam was caught more than a year ago
and there has been no let down. Israel has killed the top Hammas guy many
times and I suspect it has
slowed them but it has not stopped the violence. Political solutions seem
much more promising. As the saying goes Chinese play chess and American play
checkers.

| It would be a very positive outcome for all the DNA to show only
terrorists lost their lives in the explosion !
BTW -- I was about to Ping : CW -- to see if you are OK because you have
been posting little -
I hope you and your family are doing OK :-)))

What media is going to hold it against us? And just who is "us?"
"The media" was complicit in the run up to this war ... which we now
know was a lie.
"The media" didn't break the story of our use of chemical weapons in
Fallujah [there's film].
"The media" hasn't reported about the thousands and thousands of
civilian deaths in Iraq.
Just who is this "media" that "holds" things "against us?"
BTW, it doesn't matter who was killed and there's two reasons for
that. First, we may never know. Americans believe in DNA but have
been provided no background to tell us how the DNA was obtained for
comparison. Second, everyone the US kills is a "bad guy." When was
the last time you heard an American describe the people that they
kill as "innocents" or "civilians." Even on this forum, you've seen
people write about children as combatants.
You got your wish on an ongoing basis. They're all "bad guys."

Yeah they have a new DNA test for republican bullshit, too. It's called
Impeachment!!
Of course there is still that pandemic of Gonnorhea Lectim that has been
spreading from crawford, tx. maybe we could trot out those neutron bombs
now that we need them...

I agree absolutely, Jim... but let's remember also that Zarqawi and his
associates have long needed dealing with, and they'll still be there to deal
with after all the criminals and are rooted from the White House
There have to be hundreds of better plans than this one... and whoever comes
next is going to have to implement one of them as priority #1.

| This is interesting, back in 1973, you could not find a person who would
admit voting for Nixon, yet he won almost every state. In effect what Dubaya
did to Kerry
is happening to him and he is thrashing.
