My wife and I are gettnig ready to adopt a child from vietnam. Some of
the agencies are advising their customers to get all sorts of vaccines
before going. I mentioned to my wife that teh vacciens may not be
compatible with the enbrel i'm taking. So she called my derm just in
case. She was told that I'm not allowed to take any live vaccines
while on enbrel. I have to go off of it for 2 weeks before the vaccine
and stay off of it for 4 weeks after. Considering that the last time I
got a vaccine (pre-enbrel) I had one of the worst flairups of my life,
i'll probably just forego the vaccines if they're live and hide in the
air-conditioned hotel room.

Why not find out what vaccines are needed and contact Enbrel? They
provide very good customer service.

You may want to check out homepathic form of vaccination - won't meet
requirements, but may help you avoid infection.
