non-steroidal creams?
|
|
|
| Im going to the doctor tommorow and im going to ask for a non-steroidal
prescription cream that is effective against psoriasis. If anyone knows any
recommendations please let me know... I dont want anything that has to do
with steroidal or corti-steroid.. Im so tired of those skin thinning
applications.
The only other one I could think of is Dovonex..are there any others? I
dont believe dovonex is steroid based.

John - Elidel seems to help me. I also use Betamethasone for sore
spots but that's a steroid. Does anyone know if there's anything wrong
with using both Elidel and Betamethasone at the same time. Not on the
same plaque, mind you, but on different spots. Suppose I put Elidel on
my arms, and Betamethasone on some stubborn spots around my ankles. Is
that so wrong???? Do they both get into the bloodstream and conduct a
war or something like that??
Anyway, getting back to John, the only thing I've found is both Elidel
and Betamethasone are EXPENSIVE. You really need some good insurance
coverage to afford them unless you're independently wealthy.

I'm sorry, John, I committed a lapse of netiquette by asking a question
on your posting. Pardon my blunder and I hope your skin clears to
newborn. - Bob
