| At the risk of being flamed I feel obliged to state the obvious. Some
recent posts within this group seem to be moving in a direction where
personal issues are being vented in a public way. I don't think this is
helpful from a community perspective. At least one person's experience
has been irreparably soured, and I am not enjoying the tit-for-tat
remarks either. Moreover, I don't think they serve any functional
purpose because we all hold differing opinions and venting is unlikely
to sway another in any direction other than sticking to their guns.
I think that all on-topic comments and information is fair-game for
discussion. If the thread is somehow "not worthy" of discussing further
it will die a natural death after a post or two and keep the bandwidth
reasonable for those of us who still have dial-up connections.
Just my thoughts...
