some of my husband's psoriasis is turning purple

| Does anyone know why some of his psoriasis are turning purple? He has had
psoriasis for about 30-35 years. I have known him for over 20 years and
has had lots of flare ups but I never seen this before. It is started
with one spot by his knee and this morning he had 3 more on the back of
his calve.
He has a Doctor's appointment in the morning...I will let you know how
things go and what has caused this.
Thanks in advance for any advice and for you being a sounding board.

| There's something about a P treatment with Anthralin that can turn the skin
& clothes purple on this site. (SCAT).

Mine turns purple and dark red on the coldest days. People who see it
are mortified, but I have no other ill effects with it. It's been
happening for years. I think it's all about the cold weather and
dryness. I hope you find a solution. - Bob
