Author Soaking in the tub?

x-no-archive: yes

I have a nightly ritual of soaking in the tub to destress from the day.
Wondering if anyone finds this aggravates or is neutral to their
psoriasis.

Actually the third possibility - a number of people have reported it
as beneficial, so long as the water isn't too hot. Especially if you
add salts - from dead sea to plain or kosher to the water - or even
oils or colloidal oatmeal for some people. Moisturizing is always a
good thing, as is stress relief if your psoriasis is stress triggered.
While this can also gently soak off any flakes vs digging at them or
letting them build up to a hard crust and to make any meds applied on
the well moisturized, de flaked skin more effective.

Since I was like 10, I have been using off and on Balnetar Therapeutic
Tar Bath. This is a watery tar solution that you put into the water.
It is helpful in keeping moisturized.
