Apologies if this has been covered before.

Anyone on the cholesterol lowering Statin drugs notice any improvement
in their psoriasis ? They may help , perhaps not becuase they lower
cholesterol, but that they have antiinflammatory properties,
specifically they lower TNF by around 50%, among other cytokines, not
least C-reactive protein. I guess it is now accepted that TNF is a
causative cytokine in psoriasis since Enbrel specifically targets this.
In the UK one of the statins are now available OTC. They are very
cheap.
