Transfering HSV2 to a HSV1 person

| I have a question and I am not sure if anyone will know the answer, but here
goes...
My girlfriend has HSV1 genital and I have HSV1 oral (possibly genital also)
and HSV2 genital as well as HPV. Before I met my girlfriend she was getting
1-2 outbreaks a year. I usually get 1-2 a month, although smaller in
severity than hers. Now that we have been intimate, she is getting more
frequent outbreaks like 6-8 a year (average). I am wondering if I gave her
HSV2 and if I did, could this increase her outbreaks to more, since HSV2 is
known for more frequent outbreaks? I know it if possible to get HSV2 if you
have HSV1, but less likely to get HSV1 if you have HSV2.

Yes, it's possible she's contracted type 2. But that's not the only
possible explanation for the increased frequency. The increased sex is
a possible trigger for her original infection. Or could be some other
trigger.
Anyhow, the only way to find out if she's contracted type 2 is with a
test. Either a culture type test at her next outbreak or a blood test
at some point after antibodies have had a chance to develop. There's
no way of knowing for sure otherwise. The outbreaks for type 1 and 2
look exactly alike. There's no way to tell one type from the other
visually.
