| Hello fellow migraineurs,
Earlier this year, I was getting migraines 6-7 times a week, and taking
three preventative medications (Depakote, verapamil, and Effexor).
Depakote worked as a preventative medication for me for perhaps six
months, but eventually became ineffective. At my doctor's suggestion, I
stopped taking the Depakote and verapamil, and started using a natural
progesterone cream that is available online. I am now getting only 1-2
migraines/week, so this is progress for me! I'm quite excited, and I'm
hopeful that I can get it down to only a couple per month.
My wish is to provide hope for other people still searching for
preventative treatment that works for them. I've been getting migraines
for over 20 years, and I have tried medications from most of the
preventative classes without much success. The lesson I've learned is
to keep going to different doctors and trying different treatments.
I wish you all a migraine-free day,
'Chel

| That's great. I used a progesterone cream for many years to help curb my
endometriosis...ultimately it did help a little with my migraines. However,
for those who are subject to estrogen drops and migraines resulting from
these changes, the cream is not much help. It also has to be balanced with
your hormones at some point.
I'm glad it has helped you and thanks for sharing your success. I know
there are some people who don't believe the creams work, and I know they do
if you get a cream from a reputable company.
