I have a valve that doesn't close properly. When I have more blood
volume going through or blood flow (like when I was pregnant), I
don't have problems. When I am tired or blood pressure drops, there
is not enough blood pressure to make the valve close properly. At
least that is what I have been told. That is if I am remembering
correctly. Hubby can listen and hear it acting up. He says it sounds
like backflow as if the valve lets the blood seep back. I don't know
but it does make me nauseous and weak and I have to make sure I am
sitting down and not moving too fast. Specialist said that I would
have the chest pain when tired or under stress. Doc said most people's
blood pressure goes up or down a certain amount at a certain rate but
mine goes up or down a greater amount at a faster rate.
My "normal" blood pressure is 85/56. It is genetic. My dad and his dad
had low blood pressure and my mom did until my youngest brothers were
born and she had a stressful time with some family deaths and my dad
developing heart problems.
