Can anyone tell me what their experience with Ultram has been? I just got
some and have not used it yet.

Sometimes positive, sometimes less then. Pretty much as every other
thing in my life. The only way to tell is to try it.

Ummmm, does "Tic-Tacs" tell you anything?

But if you don't have anything else, won't these help?

Hi, Michelle. It depends on the person. I shouldn't have been so flippant
without saying more. For me, no. There really isn't any reason for me to
take Ultram for a Migraine. It does nothing for mine. So, even if I don't
have anything else, there's no sense in my wasting the Ultram.

hugs,
Teri

Teri,
I know how you feel. I've tried so many different meds and
combinations. What doesn't work doesn't ever get used again. It's just
not worth it for me. But then again, everybody seems to react
differently to all of this stuff. My favorite line from the
prescription inserts is the one that is something like "the exact
mechanism of how this stuff works is unknown" or some such line. Seems
like everything I take has that disclaimer! The docs aren't certain
about why a particular drug will work for a particular person. But if
it does work, who's to argue?

I really got better results with plain Advil myself

That's probably how T3 is for me. It makes me woozy if I take 3 of them,
but kind of sick feeling, but the pain never feels any better. However,
Vicodin will typically take the edge of my migraines enough to make it
livable....that it if it's not a terribly nasty one (hmmm, are there any
that aren't???).

I kind of wish they'd come out with some preventives that actually weren't
so hard on us and worked better. I've yet to find one that does work
completely. I'm still struggling with taking something daily to abort these
things. Maybe they could lock me in a soft, dark room for a month and let
me die it off and see if anything happens.
