| Hi I'm new and haven't read all the posts yet. Have any of you tried
Botox A for treatments? My neurologist has started me on them this pas
summer, they are great. Any migraine is minute compared to what they
used to be. The down side of it, its very expensive. My company plan
covers most of it, or I wouldn't be taking it. Topamax didn't work
for me, nor did gabapentin or wellbutrin. They just bloated me. Any
thoughts ???

Some people here have had success but others have not. I am glad that
this works for you.

| I did Botox injection on november. It was the first one. The secon will
be on february 2006. Doctor did injections on my shoulder, on my neck
and on my head.
Till now I can't see improvement on my headache but the doctor said
Botox could work after the second or the third cycle. I hope.

| Sandy, I just got my first botox injections today. My doctor injected on
the back of my head at the hair line, in the neck toward the sides up by the
hairline, in the top of my forehead...at the hairline, and in my temple
area. I tend to get my migraines starting at the base of my neck and up the
sides.
I had nausea for a couple of hours today, but other than that didn't notice
anything. I didn't think they really hurt at all. She said about 3-10 days
and I should notice it...we'll see.
