Author Changing nickname in Google Groups

Bob, when I set up my account recently, it asked me what nickname I wanted
to use. I also composed a message in the group, and next to my name in the
blank message, it had in gray, change your nickname. When I clicked on
that, I had some options. The nickname I originally was there, but I could
have changed it if I had wanted to.

Just another thought.

Michelle,
I'll try this again.
Google (I'm writing in Google, not Oulook Express) just deleted
everything I had written, without so much as a by your leave.

To continue: I think I got the name thing fixed, but thanks for the
tip.
I answered your post with more or less the same thing earlier this
morning using Outlook Express. I'm doing it again on Google because, at
this point, I have no idea which newsGroup program to trust, if either.

I saw your other message about the weirdness about our posts. I'm really
bugged by that. Any internet activity should be agnostic in terms of the
backend used to post...just like email is. One day someone will figure out
this stuff is idiotic...Thanks for plugging away at it. I think Google owes
you some shares :-)

Thanks Michelle. I found it and it seems to have worked.
