Author Hello fever, goodbye migraine!

I had the strangest thing happen this week and I'm wondering if anyone
else has had this. I had a very high fever the other night, likely
from a viral infection that's now gone. My temp was as high as 102.9.
I had shaky chills and felt achy and tired.

BUT...!!! In one way, it was the best I'd felt in months. I had none
of the blurry vision I've had since last winter, no sensitivity to
light, no nausea, and no trace whatsoever of a migraine. I normally
get two migraines a week, so I hadn't felt this *normal* in ages.

Anyone have a guess -- what happens to your blood vessels during a
fever? Could they have been affected?

Thanks!

Sorry you were so sick but I'm happy you've had such great after effects! I
can only assume the blood vessels would be wide open with a fever, hence the
heat we feel. I get the worst migraines ever when I'm sick and especially
when running a fever, so yeah *I* find it strange but others may not. I
guess the best advice I can give is *enjoy*!
