Yeah, my Mom had a weight problem - I actually watched her *gain weight* on
three green salads with lemon, a couple of hamburger patties, and about a
dozen cups of black coffee a day. And this was while running a restaurant,
which was 14 hours a day waiting tables, hefting bus boxes, carting buckets
of ice, and similar kinds of physical labor.

Thank God I inherited some of my skinny-as-a-rail Father's metabolism - even
so, I got enough of my Mom's put-it-on-and-keep-it-on tendencies that I need
to really go heavy on the exercise, and light on the food, to keep my weight
down.

Katherine (whose Mom was a "people" too!)
