Author Progression of AD?

It became apparent in 2000 that my MIL was in the earlier stages of AD. She is
83. 2 years ago she became incontinent and was wandering quite a bit. She had
been living with us but it was unsafe to have her here unattended and we found
an excellent ALF for her. Her speech is deteriorating, she now is speaking a
lot less and cannot put a sentence together. She says things that are not
words, just babbling. her physical health is excellent. I have been told that
she will probably stop speaking in about 6 months and may stop eating 6 months
after that. Does this seem like a logical timetable given the progession so
far? Thank you, KarenC
