| I am so glad for this group. I don't think I need to explain how I as a HOH
person benefit from this NG. I have made one friend already who has
(probably) given me information that will get the state to help pay for my
hearing aids. She is supportive, happens to be of my faith and as an added
bonus she lives 13 miles from my mom in Florida so maybe some day we will
meet. I am very lucky that of all people I could have married I married a
woman who has always had an interest in the HOH community. She learned
signing long before I came along, in fact had things gone just a tad
differently in her life earlier on she may have been a professional. She is
now taking a refresher course at the local college and excited about that
interest in her life.
I am thankful for this group and for everyone that is a part of it.
