Foxy Brown-Surgery to correct Sudden hearing Loss?

| Hi,
I just read on Foxy Brown's website http://www.foxy-brown.com that she
is going to get surgery to correct her Sudden Hearing Loss. I was hit
with SHL about three years ago, and as far as I know there is no cure
or surgery. The only thing I can think of is maybe she is getting a
cochlear implant. If that were so, why wouldn't her doctor just say
so. Why the secrecy? Why will her doctor not discuss it in detail?
I have taken a couple of paragraphs from her site which even says the
surgery has been successful in other patients.
<<<<"Foxy's doctor, Laura Arias, said a team of surgeons would operate
on Brown in January. While she wouldn't discuss the procedure in
detail, and when asked for Brown's specific medical diagnosis stated
simply that it was "profound, severe hearing loss," Arias did explain
that the surgery has been performed in the past on a number of patients
with the same auditory affliction. Those individuals' hearing, she
said, was restored successfully, and she expects similar results for
Foxy.
"She will hear again. She is a strong candidate for restoration," the
doctor proclaimed, adding that the recovery time following the
operation differs from patient to patient but should be brief for Foxy.
Brown has already undergone one surgery to correct her failed hearing.
">>>>
I am getting my hopes up that maybe there is a way to fix it . . .

| A quick google search reveals nothing about "Foxy's doctor, Laura Arias, nor
her comapny she is supposedly CEO of Medical by Design. On the other hand
when I google my doctor, I get dozens of hits.
For SSH, BAHA is the way to go
Foxy is on trial now and this lost hearing thing is some kind of way to get
out of it , IMHO

| I don't think it is some kind of a ploy to get out of her trial, her
hearing loss was reported in May, before the misdeameanor charge which
was in August.
I guess we will have to wait and see . . .
I did track down her doctor's email address, maybe I will send her an
email.
