Just in case anyone has not been there, the America Hears site is
http://www.americahears.com/

Erration knows of others.

That said and done, I'm entitled to the ink to tell of American Cheers.
Mostly another time, because there is too much going on in my life to take
the time to explain fully.

I learned of American Cheers from my daughter. She is fully deaf, and we
are not friends. During the time I was really sick I sent for her, and
people who know the streets were able to find her. She agreed to vist
provided my wife would not be home. She spends a little time in jail now
and then, and met a hard-of-hearing girl there who signs well enough that
with lots of time together they were able to communicate. The hard of
hearing girl was in jail for stealing from her employer, a rich woman who
got aids from American Cheers. My fever was high when my daughter told me
what she'd learned about American Cheers, but she was sober and making sure
that communication was exact. I'm sure I understood it all correctly. I'll
explain the whole thing when I have more time. But it hardly matters to
anyone, American Cheers is so expensive, and so picky about who they will
fit that American Cheers does not matter much.
