I wonder how they manage it at all. ASL and say, English,
are already as different as one can imagine. Now ASL
and _written_ English (or, for that matter, _written_
Chinese, or Russian, or...) I don't know how to put it...
it must be like trying to learn hieroglyphic Hittite
without any knowledge of Hittite.
