Ken, thanks very much for sharing your experiences.

The speakerphone that my parents use today is so poor that even those with
good hearing still gather close to the phone and struggle to hear. My
hearing isn't great so I can appreciate some of my dad's frustration. Even
with his hearing aid, he often gives up, sits in his recliner 15-feet away
and just smiles as if he knows what is being said.

If the XL-50's speakerphone is relatively strong then I am hoping that my
dad will be able to participate, even if he must wear his hearing aid to do
it. Has anyone without a hearing loss ever used and commented about your
XL-50's speakerphone? If so, how did that person compare it to others?

By the way, any general comments (good, bad or otherwise) regarding the
XL-50?

Thanks again for helping me help my dad!

Dave
