I am responding to the post on Seroquel. I have been misdiagnosed for 7
years as Major Depressive Disorder and just one month ago, a new pdoc I
was seeing had a series of questions and come to find out, I have a new
diagnoses of Cyclothymic Disorder (a milder form of bi-polar). I do
disagree and think that I have full blown bipolar 1 symptoms. I see the
pdoc again next week and I am going to ask him to re-evaluate. My
problem on the Seroquel is that my appetite is certainly increasing. I
have been forcing myself not to eat, but then wake up, sedated on
Seroquel, exactly one and a half hour after going to sleep, and make my
way into the kitchen to eat. I do think that the Seroquel is maybe not
the right dosage. I am talking to my pdoc about all of this. But, I do
think that the Seroquel added to my already heavy dosage of other
mental meds is what I needed. Now, I just need some advice from someone
on how to conquer the cravings and get motivation to exercise.

Thank you in advance,
Deborah
