After a long time away, I'm back. Looking forward to communicating with the
folks from a few years back. Hope this group is as great as it was 2 years
ago.
Oh, and by the way, my scripts changed again

300Mg Effexor XR
3Mg Clonazepam
500Mg Depakote
300Mg Trazadone (at night for sleep)
3600Mg Gabapentin

Seems to be doing the trick for now.

Long time no see! Welcome back. I'm glad you are doing well.

What do you think of Gabapentin? I haven't heard much feedback about
it from people who are taking it.

welcome back. Nice to see you. Maybe it's the season but the group is
currently going thru a positive time. That's good news for all of us.

It's supposed to be a mood stabilizer. That's the off label use anyway....

A friend of mine is taking Gabapentin. It is used as an augmenter for
unipolar depression in the UK... again off licence... similar in the way
that Valporate is used. It has helped a lot with my firend (the one who I
went to see in the Priory). His doctor has told him it will help him come
off the benzos so I guess it will help with the anxiety side of his
depression.

Medmix, where did you go??? Im a newby here so its always nice to see new
people or people return. How come you went away for so long? Did you get
better? People I guess come here more when 'the drugs dont work'!!

NDP... good to have you back... I have had to rely on LH for detailed
advise and info while you were away!

Actually, my depression was so bad for a while that I couldnt bring myself
to the boards to post. I had to change shrinks and the latest genius dropped
my effexor to 150mg a day and added zoloft. He also took me off klonopin. I
was quite low for a long time. I have a new shrink now and I'm back to
feeling better. The only thing I want to do is get off the klonopin.

Gabapentin seems to stabilize my moods a bit. (I'm not bipolar) luckily, I
have a good health care provider as the stuff is quite expensive...

Fortunately, Larry is sharper than old cheese (and much less crumbly).
You're in good hands with him.
