I was thinking of giving her the same advice. I had the RAI 131 nuclear
assault on my thyroid 10 years ago. It was so simple really. Swallow a pill.
No big deal. It was much easier to fix things with a daily dose of thyroid
replacement than deal with being a raging maniac with Graves' disease. (all
hindsight of course, and mostly my husbands opinion ;-)
Getting serious again, why would you want to deal with the ups and downs of
hashi's anyhow? And for over twenty years????
