Presents
LYME DISEASE
Body and Mind
Steven E. Phillips, MD
Dr. Phillips, an internist specializing in Lyme disease, will address symptoms,
diagnostic complications and related diseases. During his residency at Yale,
Dr. Phillips participated in Lyme disease and Ehrlichiosis research. He is
presently studying the relationship between Lyme and inflammatory diseases. Dr.
Phillips is president of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases
Society.
Carolyn S. Spiro, MD
Psychiatrist Dr. Carolyn Spiro will focus on the psychiatric and cognitive
issues associated with tick-borne diseases, including depression, anxiety,
sleep disturbances, memory problems and learning disabilities. Dr. Spiro is a
graduate of Harvard Medical School and taught at both Harvard and Yale.
