| Just wondering. I have this odd 'malfunction' that smetimes when I eat
- especially after some activity, even just walking - I'll get a strong
case of hiccups. Strong enough to actually make it difficult to eat.
They generally start on the very first bite.
Never heard of this before, was wondering if it could be one of those
odd, rare reflux symptoms?
Anybody else have this happen?

While there are certainly other causes, hiccups are fairly commonly
associated with GERD. From what you describe, I suspect that that is the
case in your situation.
