| i have done some research and discovered a cocktail of zanac and pepto
bismal twice daily works for me. i used to be a hard drinker and gave
it up. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. i have been
taking ibuprofen for my arthritus and that is the worst thing you can do
for an ulcer. the ulcer was caused by beer, wisky, and coffee combined
with 81mg asprin and/or ibuprofen tablets taken daily over a period of
about 3-5 years. all the vitamins and food supplements, including
enzyte tablets, aspiren and ibuprofen have been tossed in the trash.
the onlly thing left in the medicine cabinet is the zantac and pepto
bismal. i eat peanut butter sandwiches and black licorice twist (candy)
to get thru the day, always sleep on my back and never look at a drink,
not even a rootbeer or orange juice. one mike's hard lemon just about
finished me off! the licorice is suppsed to produce mucouse to line
your stomach. my heart
felt like it was about to burst in my chest, not just normal heartburn
that i battle every day, but like alot of pressure in my chest. i
gagged myself with my toothebrush and vomited a very sweet clear byle
that tasted like cherries mixed with triple sec, THE PRESURE DISAPEARED
IMEDIATLY AFTER VOMITING. it tasted good and the peanut butter seemed
to do the trick by keeping the esophogus lubricated and coated to
protect it from the hydrocloric acid. i drank a bottle of triple sec
about 6 months ago. and i have a cherry tree in the yard. I have been
fighting acid reflux since about 2001 aftr drinking whipped cupachino
all winter with ginseng. i think that started it. i am going to get a
endoscopy this summer and vomit some more.
cant wait to dump the whole 5 yards. there is so much grog in my tommy
that it pushes on the spincter muscle at the bottom of my esopogus and
the acid will turn the esophogus white in color like the large
intestine. this is whats happening. DR. BILL.
