| In trying to research what might have started a fairly recent pain in
my stomach (which occasioned an endoscopy and a diagnosis of Barrett's,
but not a clue as to the cause of the pain other than to rule out an
ulcer) I decided to stop the selenium, which I take to prevent cold
sores, which it does like a charm. Stops the cold sores: and causes a
stomach ache. When things seem to have healed or calmed down, I'll try
1/2 the pill, which would be 100 mg instead of 200.
Of course, I've stopped coffee and wine and chocolate, too, and I'm
still in mourning over that loss, but I put this out there for those
who might find that connection helpful. Using a bed wedge, which is
giving me a neck ache, and might not be all that helpful according to
another series of posts I've been reading here.
