Well, I've got the same dull discomfort at the top of my stomach region
that I had when first being diagnosed with acid reflux. And I realized
that, in my am half-asleep state, it looks like I haven't been taking my
lansoprazole properly. So the horrid cough, and my current discomfort,
are most likely my own fault.

I took it this morning, and though I still have the cough, it's not
nearly as bad, or as frequent. It takes a couple of days for these meds
to get up to full effectiveness, doesn't it?

So, I'll be paying more attention to the morning rituals... in the
meantime, is there any way to ease this discomfort until the
lansoprazole starts working properly?

And I do indeed have sinus issues as well, but they're getting better
(down to mostly just post-nasal drip). Between the two, my throat is
very unhappy with me, and I had a coughing fit trying to eat one small
cracker today
