Thanks Bill...You obviously are a caring person, who sincerely believes in
your cause. You do not understand my particular condition. I was speaking
for people with LES/GERD problems in general, and I may be calling you to
shoot the breeze about this stuff. What kind of number is that you gave. I
assume its not your home phone - and what would be the best time of
day/night to call you.

The following will be a run on sentence - Like you, I consider this surgery
major, and too risky, and I am not considering the surgery and have not even
discussed the surgery with anyone - I do not have any doc where I live to do
the surgery - I would have to go to whole string of docs and have tests all
over again to get the surgery out of town, if I could even find someone who
would consider me a candidate - I live by myself and do not have anyone to
help me (except one person - and going out of town is difficult at best) - I
am definitely against surgery of any kind, especially when the risk factors
are unappealing to me - I have had various surgeries before and am not
pleased with all the outcomes.

I do not have H. pylori and you didn't need to get into that. I am
medically smart and have been studying medicine and prescription drugs for
15 years and I know all about H. pylori, and have for many years. I have
had 8 EGD's in my life and am having my third colonoscopy three days from
now, and I have more than a few medical problems.

If you want me to call you, let me know what would be the best time. I do
appreciate the time you have spent, and you're the first person I have ever
seen that put their phone number in a newsgroup, which is awesome in
itself...Pete
