Mike...what kind of primary doctor do you have that does ultra sounds. My
vast experience with doctors in almost every specialty leads me to believe
that primary care physicians (including family practice, general practioner
and internal medicine) are only stepping stones for sending you to a
specialist, and they don't do anything more than a simple EKG. I live in
Maryland, where do you live.

I would not be alarmed by the calcification spots if your gastro said it was
NBD. Did you try googling "liver calcification",etc. I found this
http://www.medical-library.net/phor...phorum/read.php - type in
"liver cacification" in the search box after you go to the site. On some
quick looking, I did not see a lot of specific info in the sites that were
listed in the "liver calcification" google (would need to search other
strings).
