| Dear Ronnie,
I know you wanted to get together and talk about questions to ask your doc
about having your fusion done. I found a website (actually I think I've been
there more than a few times) where they have already created a list of
docsurg questions. Swing by here:
http://www.spine-health.com/
I didn't look at the questions, I got caught up in the patient "rate a
procedure" area. They might be on the level with these ratings, at first
they seemed pretty balanced, maybe even a little on the"surgery ruined my
life!" side. As I got closer to the bottom of the page though, they seemed
to be a whole lot more "I Love Fusion" responses.
The site looks like it is just crammed full of information, which should be
safe to believe, since an educated patient could pick them to pieces if they
posted bullshit. (which is why you should pick the questions and let us see
if your docs b.s.'ing you) Just be cautious about the opinion sounding
stuff. A lot say one thing and mean another (i.e. "I'm 6 days post fusion,
and I feel the best I ever have {cause yer medicated, pal} in my life. The
incision hurts of course, but I'll be back to my jackhammering job in two
weeks" {not if you run out of pain meds you aren't} That sort of BS).
Check it out and give a shout--og
