The part about maneuvering me was in response to your attempt to taunt
me into posting my own name. The rest of it was an advisory to you of
what would happen if my name was posted. Not that you didn't already
know.
I never authorized you to post any private information on me. I never
taunted you to do it. Telling you to do it if you must, to get it over
with was not an authorization to do so, any more than telling someone
who is holding a gun on you to "go ahead and shoot and get it over with"
is asking them to shoot you. And it certainly doesn't absolve the
shooter of any responsibility.
Now that you've done it, let's talk about your rules - your results. If
you are so sure that what you did to me was appropriate, then you should
have no problem with posting your own home address and phone number in
this group. Your post on me put my business and entire family at risk
and you justified it by saying those I attack have a right to know that
information. Well, you've attacked me, so now I have a right to know all
about you.
Your rules - your results. Do it now, or prove to everyone that you are
a coward who hides behind anonymity while attacking others; the very
thing you accused me of, which makes you a hypocrite as well. According
to you, I have a right to know the identity of anyone who makes an
attack on me and since you've tried to justify what you did to me on the
same basis, you should provide this information to me. Your name is not
enough to establish your identity. I need your home address and phone
number in order to respond appropriately.
I'm sure you won't be concerned about anyone misusing YOUR information.
After all, you ignored my warning about how my information would be
misused.
Of course you will try to weasel out of this, but you are not that
clever and if you try it, you will forever be known as a coward and a
hypocrite.

i have always posted with my real name, from the same isp - anyone that
wants to can find me from that. and some have done so. in that regard i am
no different than rj in what and how i post.
what you said [this time - not counting all the other times you have dared,
or challenged, or said fine do it] was:

i have never used another person to say what i want to say - and you know
it.
there was 'no' clue in anything written at that point that would have
allowed another to jump on you - and you know that is true.
i posted what i said i would if you did not stop taking your cheap shots -
that you have also alienated others to the point that they would take it
further is just another episode in your history - the third time so to
speak.
now, if what i wrote 'had' been 'threats' - why would i have given you the
time to correct all those other pages and files???
you took the hint and knew exactly what to do because i 'gave' the hint -
hardly the act of someone intent upon ruining your life, or forcing your
family/friends into this. the bad guys don't play that way...
i saw the potential for folks to be pulled into something because you had
been sloppy. that just didn't seem fair to me.
and you know that's true.
so i told you how i felt, and what the resolution could be - either way. and
gave you the time to clean things up even if you were unwilling to leave me
out of your 'cabal' support scenario.
i am not responsible for the fact that you have 'enemies' - you are; nor do
i approve of what they have tried to do. but you see, you made the choice to
continue to try to drag me onto a space that i do not claim - i just
wouldn't let you continue to do in in your 'i know what's best' anonymous
mode. because it was you that wanted to use that mode for your purposes - so
by my lights - you are responsible for your own actions.
i can leave you alone - can you leave me be?

Mostly retired from theatrical management and lighting design; now I run
a small charity that recycles used medical equipment for the poor
(wheelchairs, hospital beds and the like).
I was diag. as a kid with JRA (seronegative), and never really went into
remission for the next twenty odd years and have five vert. eroded on the
anterior side (neck, back, lumbar), a bum left shoulder, feet, knees and
right hip.. Leveled off in my 40's with periods of calm, followed by 2 or
3 massive flares each year that would put me in the hosp.
Over time also developed osteoarthritis, fibromylagia, sogren's syndrome,
osteoporisis, peripheral neuropathy, Was part of the original anti-biotic
trials-but it did not work out for me; and have been on just about
everything you can name, both over the counter and prescr. including
Gold, MTX, Naprosyn, plaquenil, azulfadine, prednisone, cortisone, any
NSAID, soma etc., etc.; Now that I don't LIVE in flare, --liver and
kidneys had started to act up so now they try to keep me off as much as
they can, whenever poss. (Well, except for the flexeril, trisalate, and
t-4's that I scarf!). Haven't had to go into the hosp. for 3 years!!!!!!
Flares seem to be milder, if still a month each go round.
Also use meditation, accupunture/pressure, diet, vitamins and herbs ---
all with my doc's ok. Have to watch activity level, fatigue equals pain,
and then the cycle starts all over again, but I have more good days than
bad if I mind my manners! So any day I'm up is a good day!

or at least do what you did to me and post the pointers to them. That's

| never said it was - only that's it is correct - though years ago.
the body's not in as good of shape, still try to get in every day - i
enjoy helping out here. never charge anything, give stuff away for free
to those that don't have insurance or funding and can't find what they
need elsewhere. makes my days easier to get through.
probably no diff. than the efforts you choose to support yourself.
