Thank you I am going to order my records tomorrow. I don't mind weaning

You have been a careful, honest patient, and when you leave, it will be
the doc's loss. Detox after 3 surgeries in 1 year? that's ridiculous! If
you have any trouble finding another doctor in your area, I have links to
a couple of sites that may help you. One is called, I'm pretty sure,
doctorsforpain.com (If you have trouble, let me know, and I'll look it up
again. You just pick your town, or the nearest they list, from a drop-down
list, and they'll direct you to a page which lists pain doctors in your
area. Another, which I don't have offhhand, is a bit more difficult to
use, but once you get the hang of it, it gives more results (I think you
have to list each town yourself, and it doesn't list nearby doctors, but
there are more altogether). I'm sure I have the URL for it somewhere.
But it always looks best when the doctor is found through a friend,
relative, or, better yet, referral from another doctor. Do you have a
general practice doctor, or internist? Maybe your Ob/Gyn can help.
I know it hurts-you're taught all your life to do what the doctor says,
and things will be all right. And, it goes that way-for a while. Just
remember, doctors are human beings, just like everyone else. Their are the
bad, and the good. You just had to get involved with one of the worst!
You made the best deciion you could. Whether you need help, support, or
just people to talk with, please keep in touch. We care about you!
