I have several allergies among which are dimethicone and petroleum which are
in most hand lotions. I find it very difficult to find a lotion that I can
use. Help!

There are several suggestions for fragrance free products under
'moisturizer' or 'lotions' headings on the web sites below. Fragrance free
doesn't mean dimethicone / petroleum free, but unless someone has a
specific suggestion, your best bet would probably be to look at natural or
hypo-allergenic products. The first site lists organic coconut oil.

Hello Dixie
Allergies among petroleum, fragrances, parfume and lanolin are common
problems but not dimethicone.
Are you sure you have allergy among dimethicone?
You should try a lotion called Gloves In A Bottle that could help you.
This lotion is hypoallergenic, greaseless, non-sticky, fragrance-free,
non-toxic and are recommended daily by a wide range of healthcare
professionals. I have used it myself for 4 years and it is great!

I use Neutrogena fragrance-free hand cream.

Make your own lotion. I make one with just plant based emulsifying wax and
jojoba oil, water and beeswax. I am also making my own homemade
sunscreen/makeup.
If you are interested, Go to www.soapdishforum.com and click on the
cosmetics forum. Lots of people there to help.

Go ask at www.soapdishforum.com for the kind of lotion you want. They have
many hand crafters making and selling lotion. Someone should have a lotion
for you.
