Can you eat low-acid fruits like bananas, or possibly low-acid tomatoes?
What about acid vegetables like rhubarb or oxalis (wood sorrel)? What about
the acid in your stomach?
It seems strange to be allergic to all fruits, considering fruits were a part
of the human diet since prehistoric times, hundreds of thousands of years
before agriculture, when starchy foods were not readily available. Naturally
the human body craves a food that was such a basic part of the human diet.
Maybe there is a conflict between the fruit item and the starchy foods you
presumably eat?
I can eat a variety of fruits, not including tomatoes and eating citrus only
on very rare occasions, but have problems with starchy foods resisting
swallowing, and am strongly allergic to potatoes, though that seems to be an
issue of solanine rather than starch.
