| I've had allergies, many of them respiratory allergies for about 60
years. I've been tested many times in the first 30 years and always had
so many positive reactions that testing was discontinued after 20 or so.
I live in a condo with air conditioning, an outside air source gas
furnace, more than enough HEPA air filters Hypo-allergenic bedding and
take all the usual precautions, yet I still find myself with all of
these symptoms at a pollen-free time of year. The climate is dry but I
humidify to 35 - 40% so there are no molds or spores etc.
The one thing I do have is wall-to-wall carpet. Does this mean that my
discomfort is certainly or most likely caused by dust-mites? Are there
any other likely explanations?
The allergist doesn't come to town for several months yet, so nay help
this group can give me before I have testing again would help.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
