In my country, speed=amphetamine. Methamphetamine is (simplified) a stronger
form of amphetamine.
Do you know for a fact if he injects it or "just" eat/sniff it?

How does that makes sense?

If you say he earns good money, has a job and all, maybe it really isn't.
From what you describes, I would say he definately _has_ a problem, but
think about it.

> also, is this drug something that would cause him to suffer if he stops.

Define "suffer". There would be withdrawals, but nothing serious. Everybody
acts differently though.

> Why would he destroy himself like this?

From his point of view, he is probably not destroying himself.

If you can't accept his drug use, of course you shouldn't finance it.

> Sorry for the long post,

No problem.

Please bear with me, if I sound too "pro-drugs". But have in mind that not
all substance use is abuse/misuse.

Hope you could use my answers to something, and good luck with your son -
and you.
