| A month ago when I was in the grocery store there was a filthy man
and woman in filthy clothes walking around looking at the groceries
trying to decide what to buy with what little money they had.
I recognized them from 30 + or - years ago when they were young
and proud to be drug users and alcoholics. They thought they were
tough. They could do large quantities of drugs and alcohol and were
still alive. They raised hell and caused trouble for anyone who wasn't
a doper and they ran with a big crowd who thought drugs were cool.
Now they walk around groceries stores in filthy clothes trying to
decide what they can buy with what little money they have.
I'm glad I wasn't cool like they were.
