I don't really know what myspace is, but I went there to listen to
somebody's daughter's music.

Something called "Sticky Keys" seemed to have activated and every key on
my keyboard did something different that what it should have.
Fortunately, rebooting got rid of it. I'm going to someday learn not be
be curious.

That had nothing to do with Allison's page on Myspace. Not sure what the
heck that is. Turn your popunders and popups off.

Oh, and run a scan for malaware and spyware. Sounds like you have a bug.

Don't know how to turn popunders (what's a popunder?) and popups off,
but am going to run spyware and that stuff.

Tells you about sticky keys - which I was first introduced to through
some myspace thing, but I don't know where or what - it could have been
when I was trying to design my myspace...

So Sticky Keys is something in Windows XP? I still don't understand how
or why it was turned on or even why rebooting turned it off. Nice to
know how to disable it, though.

Thanks~!

Sticky keys is activated simply by tapping shift 5 times rapidly and
deactivated the same way.

Is there a reason I would *want* to use it?

Is there a reason I would *want* to use it?
Donna~

Only if you lost a significant number of fingers and couldn't strike 2
or more keys simultaneously.

From what I gathered on quick perusal, you might, but probably not -

" It is an 'accessibility' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accessibility)
feature to aid 'handicapped' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disabled)
users. Sticky keys allows the user to press a 'modifier key'
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modifier_key), such as Shift, Ctrl, Alt,
or the 'windows key' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_key), and
have it remain active until another key is pressed. It is activated by
pressing the shift key 5 times in sequence or by holding down a
modifier key for longer than 5 seconds. When sticky keys is activated,
a beep is sounded whenever the Shift, Ctrl, 'windows key'
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_key), or Alt keys are pressed
henceforth."

*"StickyKeys* is an accessibility feature designed for people who have
difficulty holding down two or more keys at a time. When a shortcut
requires a key combination such as CTRL+P, StickyKeys will enable you
to press one key at a time instead of pressing them simultaneously.
This procedure tells you how to turn on StickyKeys through
*Accessibility Options* in *Control Panel*."
