Don't forget to watch the sixth season's premiere episode on CBS tonight.
From what I've read in the rumor mills, Grissom is getting his guys back
this season. Well, it's about time!

One of our radio stations is broadcasting from the set of CSI this week.
Apparently the show's head writer, Sara Gold, is from this area, so she's
giving us the grand tour via radio.

That should be "Sara Goldfinger."

Well, Judity. I am having so much trouble with my computer this morning.
I did watch CSI last night and it was good, but it was so intense and so
scary I had to leave the room. And those ants. Ugh.

What had happened to “his guys” last year? I hardly ever sit down and
watch a whole show on TV because I am usually racing the clock to
finish my work at night and I miss everything.

Hey, I wrote this in Word and pasted it. Maybe THIS one will go
through.

Becky, last year about mid season, that slimy snake Ecklie took Nick and
Warrick away from Grissom on the night shift and moved them to the swing
shift where he then promoted Catherine to be the supervisor even though she
wanted the day shift.

He then demoted Sophia, the acting day shift supervisor who had refused to
kiss his a*s when handling the review of Grissom's capabilities as
supervisor. She was moved to work on the night shift with Grissom, Sara,
and Greg who finally passed his CSI qualifications in the interesting
episode, "Who Shot Sherlock Holmes?".

In the fantastic finale of season five, everyone including the delightfully
acerbic Hodges and a now almost human Ecklie worked together to rescue Nick
from his glass coffin. In particular, I enjoyed the scene where Grissom was
back at the lab lip reading Nick's words just before the ants broke through.

As they watched the ambulance take Nick along with Warrick and Catherine
away, Grissom's exhausted plea to Ecklie of "I want my guys back" gave so
many of us CSI fans hope that the writers would come to their collective
senses and do the right thing.

By the way, while watching the two-hour finale last night, I started another
CSI story during the commercials. Will put it on my blog along with the
others as soon as I get a bit further into it. So far there are eight dead
bodies in it. Hey, I felt very lighthearted so kept the number down.
(laughing)

Thanks for writing all this, Judity! I have missed quite a few episodes and
would like to start watching again, if I can find the time. I need a Tivo!

Sandi, you probably missed some good episodes then. Last night on Spike I
saw for the first time "King Baby", which actually had me laughing out loud
a couple times. It revolved around a fetish I'd never heard of before,
grown men wearing diapers who wanted to be cuddled by what Nick called a
"milk maid". Use your imagination for that one!

Just watching how Grissom and Nick reacted differently to the saleslady's
comments at the adult baby store about Grissom being such a good daddy to
his son Nick was worth having to watch a fat man running around in a dirty
diaper before he flew off the balcony. Of course, later on when Grissom and
Catherine were having a friendly conversation and he mentioned he missed
seeing her tush, this brought back memories of how they were during the
first few seasons before she got an inflated ego from being promoted.

I swear some of the CSI writers have a warped sense of humor, and I hope
they never lose it.
