| I was rummaging through my deceased fathers things when i stumbled
across some prescriptions that he had picked up about a week before he
had a heart attack. i was wondering if by taking all of these
medications at the same time could have caused the heart attack.
1)IC Haloperidol 10MG tablet-take 2 tablets every morning, take 3
tablets at bedtime
2)REMERON 45MG TABLET-take 1 tablet at bedtime
3)SEROQUEL 25MG-take 2 tablets by mouth every four hours as needed for
anxiety(lets say he took all 4)
4)EFFEXOR XR 150MG CAPSULE SAWYE- take 1 capsule twice daily
5)PROTONIX 40MG EC WYE- take 1 tablet daily
6)SEROQUEL 200MG TABLET ZEN-tak 1 tablet at bedtime
If any more info is required please let me know. this is greatly
appreciated, thank you.

Those are pretty strong drugs. However, without an autopsy report, it
would be difficult to determine the true cause of death or whether
those drugs precipitated the the heart attack that eventually caused
his death. My condolences..

| Have you asked at sci.med.pharmacy? They have several pharmacists
posting there. Otherwise, I would suggest contacting a local
pharmacist, although not the one who filled the prescriptions. They
usually have a better knowledge base when it comes to drug interactions
and side effects than does the average physician.
