kidnapped by the right to lifters, and no longer have a brain? Do they
actually think that anyone will believe that Terri said "I want to
live" when they were pulling her tube out?
Don't you love how the President's approval numbers have dropped so
low, on three different polls? Do you think anyone is getting the
message yet that the people may have spoken in November, but they won't
be quietly approving, his flying from Texas to sign this bill, his
coming up with a ridiculous SS private investment plan and gas prices
approaching 3/gallon.
Makes me so proud.

| I don't know! I did think it was VERY interesting on Anderson Cooper's
360 tonight regarding Terry Randall. Several of his kids (due to their
obvious ethnicity I believe they must have all been adopted but still
raised by him) were mentioned or talking on tape. One of the girls is
Muslim now. A couple others had babies out of wedlock and (the prize
goes to - drumroll please) Terry Randall himself for having an affair.
What is with these yahoos getting up and pounding the pulpit about
family values, blah blah, then can't keep their pants zipped? Then, they
still do not have the good grace to realize they are no longer credible
speaking on anything. The louder they scream about a sin, the more
likely it seems they are guilty.
One does have to wonder would Bush have pulled this stunt had the
election been this November and he was still up for a second term?

And there ARE people that will believe them.
What I find more amusing than that is Schindler accusing Jeb Bush of
"putting their brain-damaged daughter and the rest of their family 'through
a week of hell by not acting.'" --- What do they want from this guy? He's
done all he can within the framework of the law. If he oversteps the law
he's going to prison. Is that what they want?
Did you read the CNN news item about the young girl who got a call from the
same Hospice that Sciavo is at? Her grandfather was very close to dying, and
they wanted her to have a final chance to be with him during his remaining
minutes of life. She flew out of the house in her PJs, but with the crowds
at the Hospice she couldn't get through in time, so her grandfather passed
away before she could goodbye.
I believe the article further elaborated on there being no peace and quiet
for the other termnially ill residents, because of the feeding frenzy going
on.
What began as a human interest story has turn sickening as far as I'm
concerned.
So, who do you think will star in the TV movie?

That's exactly what they want. Did you read the whole "circumventing the
law" discussion. As long as they are doing it out of love for their
daughter, it's not circumventing the law. Jeb Bush should be prepared to go
in there physically and remove her at gunpoint if necessary.
Speaking of which, did y'all see the nutcase who tried to steal a gun so he
could "rescue Terri?" Sheesh.

That's a tough one. Only Dolph Lundgren is anywhere near big enough and
blond enough to play Michael Schiavo, and I doubt he has the acting chops to
pull it off. Actually, strike that, I think that anybody could play any of
the characters and most of the world would never notice, because after all,
sadly, they've become more symbols than people anyway at this point.

Our local news channel got permission from someone to provide their forms
on the news channels website. So many people were calling and complaining
that they couldn't get to the website to download the proper forms. Maybe
more and more will start letting people access the proper forms for their
state via the news websites.

Two guys were talking at the water cooler. One says, "You should have
met Bernie. He was the ultimate guy. Anything that needed fixing, he
could fix it. Anything that needed building, he could build it. And
talk about knowledge... Bernie knew so much about virtually every topic
you could imagine. Politics, science, medicine, engineering, economics,
public relations, home decorating, cooking -- you name it, he knew about
it. And he was the ultimate ladies man, too. Gentle, considerate,
sophisticated, patient, and he could please a woman without even
trying."
The other asks him, "He sounds like quite the guy. Did you know him for
very long?"
"No," was the reply. "I married his widow."
