My daughter is getting married this year. I *thought* in October so I had
this loooong time to go yet. But they've moved the date to July 29.

I've had 2 surgeries in the last 8 weeks, which means a double-dose of
recuperating where I did what I do best sometimes-- sit and eat, lay around
and eat, eat, lay around, you get the picture.

I need to lose 30 pounds. I hate exercise. I use food to channel my
stress.

Anybody have tips for the unmotivated but staring at a deadline person for
weight loss or exercise that feels painless?

LOL! You sound like me, Bambi! My daughter's date is now July 30.... and I
have about 20 to lose to be happy in that mother-of-the-bride dress.

I joined a gym, and am cutting back on the crap I eat - love everything
that's not good for me. Fortunately, I love all food actually... so it's not
at all hard for me to eat veggies, fruits, and non-fat yogurt.

Good luck. I know of no shortcuts to weight loss (well, other than meth, and
I'm not going there).

Y'all, I look like a Weeble! I got pics today from a trip in December and I
swear I'm even fatter now than I was then.

I want to do Jenny Craig with Kirstie but I'm leery of it. Everybody I ever
knew who went to one of those things gained all their weight back.

My next choice is going to be Dr. Phil. I like his ideas.

Of course getting off me arse might have an effect too...
