May I ask a favor?

| I just saw Cristo's latest work on TV's "Sunday Morning" and wonder if any
of you live close enough to NYC to go see his saffron gates in Central Park.
Now, Cristo isn't everyone's cup of tea as far as art goes, and I've never
seen any of his larger-than-life works in person. However, this recent
temporary work struck a cord with me. Two words came to mind as I watched
the clip about it on CBS: Joy and Whimsy!
So, if you live nearby and can spare the time, would you take a proxy walk
for me through some of the gates? You don't need to take a photo or even do
anything but maybe think of your online friend here and understand a bit of
me in those pieces of cloth blowing gently in the wind.
Thank you in advance if someone will do this and let me know if it is as I
feel about it.

| I saw this last night on 60 min. It reminded me so much of a couple of years
ago... There is a hill behind our house called "Mt. Pishah". It has a hiking
trail to the top, which is heavily used daily. Someone put a "clothes line"
on the very top, following the peak, and hung colorful "sheets" of cloth on
it, so that if we looked up at the top (sort of the horizon to us), there
were yards and yards of colorful bits of cloth flapping in the breeze. I
loved it. Even hiked up to see it up close. I think it was some art students
at the Univ. of Oregon who did it. They must have been inspired by the
Cristos.
